Steady Pad Pack Math — Kit of 4 (€29.99)
Why pay €56 to steady your caravan?
Four single pads quietly add up to €55,96. But there's a line on the receipt most caravanners only spot at the till — the same four pads, €26 cheaper. Here's the maths.
€7.50 a corner · same pads, pinned on · ships from the EU in 3–7 days
Same four pads. €26 less.
No trick to it. The Kit of 4 is the same pad — same ribbed grip, same locking pin, same anti-sink base — just bought as a set. No smaller, no thinner plastic, no catch. The only thing that changes is the price.
The maths every caravanner does eventually — usually at the dinette, with a coffee.
So if the kit's the obvious move… why does anyone still spend €56?
Two of them cost more than the kit.
Because the €56 isn't really the competition — these two are. And both end up back on the shopping list.
Free and cheap both fail the same way. The difference is one small part the others don't have.
It's the pin.
Wood and loose pads have nothing holding them to the van — so they creep off the foot and end up left in the grass. The Camperista pad pushes a locking pin straight through the pad and the steady leg, held by a stainless ring, so it fixes to the leg and travels with the van. It can't slip off mid-wind-down, and it can't get lost.
- Locking pin + stainless ring — pins to the leg, can't slip off or get lost
- Ribbed base spreads the load and grips grass, gravel and mud
- UV- & weather-resistant PETG, made in Romania — lives outside all season
- No tools: slide under the foot, pin on, wind down

Before you buy
Is the Kit of 4 a cheaper or smaller pad than the single?
No — it's identical. Same ribbed grip, same locking pin and ring, same UV-resistant PETG. The Kit of 4 is simply four of the same pad bought as a set, at €29,99 instead of €55,96. Nothing is downgraded to hit the price.
Why not just use scrap wood?
Plenty of people do — until it cracks under the load, soaks up mud, and gets left on the pitch. It also sits loose, so the steady foot can creep off the edge. The pad cradles the foot and pins to the leg, so it stays put and lasts.
What about a cheaper generic jack pad?
The problem with most generic pads isn't the price — it's that nothing fixes them to the leg. They sit loose under the foot and slip out as you wind the steady down. The locking pin is the difference: it holds the pad on the leg so it can't slide off or go missing.
Will it fit my corner steadies?
It's made to cradle the foot of standard caravan and motorhome corner steadies. If yours are an unusual shape, send us a photo of the steady foot before ordering and we'll confirm — quicker than a guess and a return.
Singles or the kit?
All four legs sit on the same ground, so all four need a pad to keep the van level — one corner won't do it. That's why the kit exists: every corner covered for €29,99, €26 less than buying four singles.
Shipping and returns?
