Camper Window Lock — Quiet nights in any wind

Gusts outside. Not a click inside.
camperista
Windy nights in a camper have a soundtrack: click. click-click. click. It's not the awning, and it's not the trees. It's your windows — shut, but not sitting tight. Here's the €9 full stop.
You know the night. Parked on an exposed aire, forecast said breezy, reality says gusts. Everyone's asleep — except you, because a metre from your head the window is having a conversation with the wind. It's closed. You checked. It just won't sit still.
So you lie there cataloguing the clicks. You think about wedging a sock in the frame. At 3am you actually do it. The sock falls out at 4.
If you've ever slept badly because of a window you had already closed — this is for you.
Why a closed camper window still rattles
The acrylic windows on most European motorhomes and caravans close on one small plastic catch. It was designed to keep the rain out — that's the whole job description. It was never designed to press the pane tight. So there's always a millimetre or two of play in the frame, and on a gusty night, or with trucks passing on the road behind, that play becomes the click-click-click you can't unhear.
One catch was never enough. Most owners just never think about it — until the first windy aire.
The patches don't work
Folded beer mats. Towels in the hinge. Earplugs — which just mean you're the last to know if anything actually happens. The generic hardware-store clamp that doesn't fit the winder and scratches the frame. None of it presses the pane properly shut, and none of it survives the second gust.
A second lock, over the catch your window already has.
A small precision-printed clip slides over the winder and presses the pane firmly shut. No play in the frame — nothing left to click. And as a side effect you'll appreciate on a packed aire: from the outside, the window now won't lift open either.

It clips straight onto the Seitz or Dometic winder in about five seconds per window — no tools, no drilling, no adhesive — and lifts off without a mark. Which also makes it the only upgrade a rented or leased van allows.
